I met E & R on a beaut April evening at Ballintoy. Known for being a Game of Thrones location, it was a happy accident that it would be the same night that the infamous episode 3. Only Ryan watches GoT and he hadn’t seen the episode yet so I had to try to stop myself from spilling spoilers.
But we found lots of other things to chat about as we explored the harbour area. The thing about Ballintoy is there are so many amazing spots. With GoT in my head I was inspired to stick around the harbour area. This is how my head works, I get inspired by what I consume, and I was so inspired.
I also wanted to make the most of having the place to ourselves. It is very rare that you get the harbour section to yourself, and it’s impossible at weekends. But Eimear and Ryan were able to shoot on a Monday evening and it really paid off.
It was so great to get to know them both and hear all about their wedding plans. I really can’t wait for their wedding at Larchfield Estate later this year.
If you’re planning a wedding at Larchfield or love the Causeway Coast as much as I do, get in touch. Lx
