For this styled shoot in October I wanted to showcase the wonderful fairytale Enzoani dress against the stunning Causeway coastline. Murlough Bay is the ideal place with a little hidden beach that is just so idyllic yet dramatic. It’s just epic, and the ideal place for elopements and intimate weddings. As one of the lesser known Game of Thrones locations and the more secluded nature of it, it makes it quiet and perfect for a private ceremony.
I was working with some of the most amazing suppliers for this shoot, which was one of the other main reasons behind it. I want to be able to show my clients the vendors we have on our doorstep, in order to help them plan the wedding of their dreams from anywhere in the world. But this type of wedding isn’t just for couples who are eloping. I really believe intimate weddings like this are a great option for couples from Ireland – I call them local elopements. Ideal for couples who want a small intimate wedding, but who don’t want to travel, especially when we have the most amazing backdrops at our disposal.
The week before this shoot I saw A Star Is Born and I was completely mesmerised by how it was shot; how it drew you into their relationship and had you entirely invested in their love. It completely inspired my vision for this shoot and Emma and Josh were the perfect couple to make my dream a reality.
